PM's Driving License - A Duty or a Political Stunt?

We normally don’t follow traffic rules in our country, not because we don’t have one but because the rules are so flexible, with a bribe of 10-100 RS we can get over with traffic rules, but there is one learned man who defies us all, none but one of the great economist India has Dr. Mr.Manmohan Singh, he is my favourite because we share something common, haaha (same graduating University-Panjab Uiversity).

Recently Prime Minister Manmohan Singh got his driving license renewed himself by going to the RTO office. By Indian Politics its a big issue, a country where Politician have all the right to do anything and not only this even their children enjoy the same vantage point, such an act tells us that still politics at the upper level is somewhat working and exists. This act of an learned Indian tells that law is equal for all, even for the matter person concerned is our Prime Minister.

However there is another view for this act, with clouds of uncertainty over UPA government this act might improve some image in public domain, it could be a political stunt on behalf of Sonia Gandhi to get UPA a fair Image before congress goes for election.

Whatever be the motive behind this act a political stunt or a inner awareness this act of our Prime Minister is highly appreciated, at least some of our national leaders have respect for rules and regulation even they never followed it. I guess for us, this act should not be made a news any more, what he did was an act of citizen and he did nothing special by following the rules after all we all follow it.

Still I would hesitate to give credit to our Prime Minister, as I find this at a more political game and less of a duty, for him he always has a driver and guard to drive his sedan, also congress has been famous for creating illusion in our eyes for man years may be he is Mahatma Ghandhi, Indira Ghandhi, all have misguided India and Indians. We all are so educated that we should now what he did was not a heroic act but a duty, so just think before you make any conclusion.
